DN Andrew is a graduate of the University of Lynchburg's Doctorate of Physical Therapy program in Lynchburg, VA. Andrew discovered his passion for treating the oncology and lymphedema population while in graduate school. He completed his specialty certification as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) while in graduate school, and has continued to further his skills. He has amassed experience in various practice settings including working in acute care at a local level I trauma hospital, as well as honing his outpatient skills working in orthopedics, oncology, and lymphedema treatment clinics.     FAQs Your Questions Answered What types of health insurance do you accept? We currently are out-of-network with third party insurance agencies. This allows your therapist to provide the most appropriate interventions without third party payer restrictions. This also ensures you will not receive surprise charges, or balances due, as payment is received at time of service. We encourage you to inquire with your insurance provider regarding coverage for out-of-network care. Our clinicians can provide you with a "Superbill" to submit for reimbursement through your insurer, however we are unable to provide any guaranteed reimbursement will be provided. ​ We do participate with Medicare Part B coverage. Call our clinic for a free consultation for more information regarding coverage for therapy. Do I need a doctor’s referral? Virginia law allows for unresitricted direct access to physical therapy services provided by individuals with doctorate level education, or direct access certification. However, if you are under the care of a physician for the condition which you are seeking our services, we do ask that you seek out a referral and have it faxed to 804-409-7885. ​ We also ask that anyone seeking therapy for complete decongestive therapy, or currently undergoing cancer treatment please have their supervising physicians provide a referral for therapy. What is your new client procedure? New and prospective clients can set up a 15 minute phone call by submitting an inquiry with your contact information through our website, or by calling the phone number listed below. During this phone call we can discuss your goals for therapy, and how we can help you reach those goals. You may also provide your physician with our fax number (804-409-7885), and request a referral with your demographics and most recent visit note be sent to our office. After receiving your referral we review your information, and contact you directly to schedule an initial evaluation.
